We've made it simple to see how much a new lawn will cost by showing you how much the per kilo price is for our most popular varieties and blends. Plus we've included pricing for an average 100sqm lawn. While you're lawn might be smaller or larger it's a good way to get a general idea of cost and sizing.
Warm Season Lawns - Grass Seed Cost per kilo and 100sqm lawn

1. All Season Couch $19.80 per kilo OR $99 per 100sqm lawn (inc GST)
A fine textured lawn capable of withstanding a dry hot Summer with Couch, Ryegrass & Fine Fescue.
2. Turbocote Couch $29.15 per kilo (inc GST) OR $87.50 per 100sqm lawn (inc GST)
A blend of Unhulled and Hulled Bermuda grasses. It will establish quickly and produce a lawn with good wear resistance and turf recovery. Superior coating to assist germination.
3. La Prima Couch $57.20 per kilo (inc GST) OR $57.20 per 100sqm lawn (inc GST)
Use where fast germination, rapid establishment and excellent turf performance are required. A Certified blend of improved turf-type seeded couchgrass varieties. The varieties in La Prima were chosen for their strong individual benefits and characteristics to provide an extremely high quality turf.
4. Turbocote Kikuyu $64.90 per kilo (inc GST) OR $64.90 per 100sqm lawn (inc GST)
100% Kikuyu seed which requires minimal care and once it’s germinated and established it will tolerate heavy wear and tear. Kikuyu is a highly drought tolerant grass variety and holds it’s colour well in most situations.
5. Royal Bengal Couch $66 per kilo (inc GST) OR $66 per 100sqm lawn (inc GST)
Excellent turf quality and high density. Excellent winter colour retention, Fast germination for rapid cover, vibrant, dark green colour, drought tolerant, fine leaf texture, high winter hardiness.

Cool Season Lawns - Grass Seed Cost per kilo and 100sqm lawn
1. Drought Master Lawn Seed Blend $7.10 per kilo OR $35.50 per 100sqm lawn (inc GST)
Combines drought tolerant cool season grasses as well as summer hardy couchgrass. Ideal for home lawns and landscaped areas.
2. Budget Blend Lawn Seed $7.60 per kilo OR $37.45 per 100sqm lawn (inc GST)
Dark green in colour with great texture. Perennial ryegrass will establish rapidly and gives the turf superior wear resistance. A carefully chosen, economical blend with a high germination rate.
3. General Purpose Lawn Seed Blend $8.10 per kilo OR $40.50 per 100sqm lawn (inc GST)
60% Perennial Ryegrass, 30% Bentgrass, 10% Fine Fescue. Designed to sustain year round colour, rapid germination and good wear tolerance.
4. Premium Lawn Seed Blend $11.30 per kilo OR $56.50 per 100sqm lawn (inc GST)
Kentucky Bluegrasses and Fine Ryegrasses. This premium blend will provide a fine textured lawn with excellent dark green colour and appearance.

Tall Fescue and Perennial Ryegrass. A carefully chosen, economical blend of rapidly establishing, dark green grass varieties. A quality looking lawn.

90% Perennial Ryegrass + 10% Kikuyu. The Perennial Ryegrass establishes quickly and gives the turf excellent wear tolerance, with Kikuyu to provide Summer drought tolerance.

A clever combination of varieties. The Fescues are the most shade tolerant grass on the market combined with the quick establishing Ryegrass and the dark green colour of the Bluegrass.
8. Defiant TTT $15.95 per kilo OR $62.95 per 100sqm lawn (inc GST)
100% Turf Type Ryegrass - Great for sports, children's play, pets and high wear areas. With a fine texture and fast establishment it's back in use quicker than other lawn types.
9. Defiant XRE $15.95 per kilo OR $69 per 100sqm lawn (inc GST)
100% Turf Type Rhizomatous Tall Fescue. Superior water absorption and wear recovery with excellent drought tolerance.

While all our lawn seeds have high germination rates and have been developed to be high quality, there are differences between the colour and seasonal changes a lawn goes through. If you can afford to spend a little more it can make a big difference to the look and quality of your lawn.
PLUS Remember that all new lawns need a KICKSTART FERTILISER. Spread your fertiliser at a rate of 3-4kgs per 100 square metre (that's about $15).
