Massive Overseed Project with Ben a.k.a. Lawn Tips. Find out more!
We've teamed up with Ben from Lawn Tips again this Autumn to complete a massive overseed project. Our Landscape Range Premium Blend is a great choice for this type of project and this time of the year so, it's the preferred blend. It is ideal for home lawns, landscape areas, or where any premium looking lawn is needed. The lawn is looking pretty good but could do with a boost, a bit of thickening up and some big patches repaired.

Lots of takeaways from the video including:
- The Kentucky Bluegrass in the blend takes 21 days to germinate while Ryegrass takes much less (which helps with erosion control and add extra colour).
- You can do an overseed without putting down top dressing. Really helpful if you've got a huge lawn or paddock.
- If the area is really compacted it will be difficult for the seed to germinate. Ben highly recommends doing core aeration before you do that if compacting is an issue.
- Finally, if you're overseeding something, make sure you keep it wet at all times. Water is the most important factor!
