• VICTORIA

  It’s often a slow start to Spring in Victoria. It takes a long time for soil temperatures to increase so we recommend sowing cool season varieties and blends early in Spring and waiting for consistently hot weather for kikuyu and couch sowing. All our tips for Victoria are here

• NEW SOUTH WALES

  We have great weather on the way! After a very wet winter in many parts of the state (hello Sydney) there should be warmer days and night ahead. Germination will be quicker as it heats up and you can look to blends like our All Season Couch and Kikuyu early in Spring or 100% Couch and Kikuyu when the weather is consistently hot!   See our recommendations for locations in Queensland. Need quick green? Choose Ryegrass or a blend with rye. Need more drought tolerance?  Stick to Couch and Kikuyu. See more here

• Australian Capital Territory

  Germination will be quicker as it heats up and you can look to blends like our All Season Couch and Kikuyu early in Spring or 100% Couch and Kikuyu when the weather is consistently hot! Watch watering requirements. Germinating seed needs damp soil continuously.   See more here

  Very similar to Victoria, a colder start to Spring, but it's on the way! Cool Season grasses are your go-to. Home Run or TTT Perennial Ryegrass are top tips! Sort out those winter weeds with a good herbicide. See more here
