LAWN SEED TIPS:
- Follow the weather cues. Temperatures vary in all states.
- If your temperature is consistently warmer after winter you can start sowing projects and repairs.
- We recommend you use a Starter Fertiliser like Kickstart Fertiliser when sowing lawn seed.
- For Northern Territory, North Western Australia, and Queensland: Hotter areas choose WARM season varieties.
- For Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, ACT, New South Wales, and southern parts of Western Australia: choose cool season grasses or cool and warm season blends. The start to Spring can be a little slower here.
FERTILISING TIPS:
- Fertilise in the early Spring to bring lawns back to peak after a cold winter. Then fertilise again later in Spring to prepare for Summer.
- Established lawns use All Season Reno.
- For iron use Best Nitrex.
- A slow release fertiliser like Gold Pro is also an option.
- Lower mowing heights as growth increases.
HERBICIDE TIPS:
- Deal with any weeds that have grown over the winter months.
- Bow and Arrow Herbicide for Buffalo lawns.
- Ravage Herbicide for cool season lawns.
