Our Dichondra has something new for you.. a new, smaller product size! Welcome news for those who need it for smaller areas.
Now the Advanced Seed Dichondra will come in a new 200g size and is perfect for sowing in around in small pots, small landscaped areas. It still comes in our usual 500g, 2kg, and 4kg sizes.
What is Dichondra?
For all of you who are not familiar with Dichondra -- it's a bright green, pretty broadleaf ground cover. It has circular leaves which is commonly used in shaded areas or under trees. Its vibrant colour and a spreading growth habit means it will continue to fill out areas over time. It has dark green colour and cushion feel underfoot. It looks beautiful in landscaped areas where it does not need to be mown.
Grass Type Characteristics:
- Establishment Rate: Medium Growth in Establishment. Takes roughly 10-14 days to establish in ideal conditions.
- Drought Tolerance: Moderate to Good
- Shade Tolerance: Excellent
- Heat Tolerance: Moderate
- Wear Tolerance: Average. Great for areas with low traffic.
